Breaking News: Posada to Have Season-Ending Surgery

The headline says it all. I just heard the news on Sportscenter. This was pretty much expected after the Nady trade, because there would be no room for Posada at first base or DH. This is definitely the right move, because it will allow Posada to come back at full strength at the start of 2009 as a catcher.
