Matsui Out For The Season

Earlier today, Hideki Matsui had season-ending surgery on his left knee. This is something that easily could have happened months ago, but Hideki wanted to come back. However, since his return he has not played well, and it was obvious he needed the surgery. He was able to play in the Stadium's final game last night, but will now shut it down for the rest of the year, and come back in April ready to play, presumably as the full-time DH.
